FAQ

Q: How much does concrete cost per yard?
A: It costs roughly $150.00 a yard at 3000 PSI, plus Maryland state sales tax on the material as required by the state. A short load fee of $430.00 will cover each concrete delivery all the way up to 2.75 yards.

Q: How much time do I have to unload the concrete?
A: The customer has up to 30 minutes for the first 3 yards, and 10 minutes per yard thereafter.

Q: Will the concrete truck be able to access my job location?
A: Our truck needs a clearance of 12 feet wide by 13 feet high. The ground must be able to support 70,000 pounds. The driver will make the final decision on whether he can safely enter and exit the job site safely.

Q: What admixtures can you put in the concrete?
A: Upon 48hrs notice water reducers, non-chloride accelerators, retarders, and air entrainments can be added to the concrete mix.

Q: Do you offer pea gravel?
A: Yes, although a day's prior notice is required.

Q: Do you deliver on weekends?
A: Yes, but only by appointments. We also deliver after-hours. Please call our office for availability and rate.

Q: When should I place my order for fresh concrete?
A: Our deliveries are based on a first-come, first-served basis. The earlier you call, the greater the chance you have of securing your desired delivery time!

Q: What is a wash-out fee?
A: A wash-out fee only occurs when the truck cannot be cleaned immediately following the delivery to the site. A wheelbarrow or hole in the ground qualifies as a suitable wash-out location. Trucks cannot be washed out in a sewer, drain, or gutter.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: Cash, VERIFIABLE Checks, and Credit cards are accepted. (Surcharge fees apply with the use of a credit card).

Q: Do you sell fibercrete?
A: No, there is not enough demand to allow for the storage and handling of fibercrete.
